How DealerTrades handles information
Version 2026-09-29. This policy explains what information DealerTrades collects and how it is used and protected.
Information we collect
We collect dealership and contact information submitted during registration, optional dealer licence details, account and sign-in information, vehicle and transaction activity, messages, and basic technical or security logs needed to operate the service.
How we use information
We use information to review dealership access, operate DealerTrades, display inventory, process offers and purchases, communicate about accounts and transactions, prevent misuse, maintain security, and meet business or legal obligations.
Service providers
DealerTrades uses trusted providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, file storage, and other operational services. They receive only the information needed to perform those services. DealerTrades does not sell personal information.
Retention and safeguards
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the marketplace, transaction records, security, dispute handling, and legal obligations. We use access controls, authentication, backups, and other reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Your choices
You may ask to review or correct your account information. You may also contact DealerTrades with a privacy question or request. Some transaction and security records may need to be retained.
